Hi there, I'm Ané - founder and creator of Ané Skincare & Beauty.

Cleansing is the cornerstone of a good skincare routine. Not properly cleansing the skin regularly can result in issues such as breakouts, dehydration, black heads, a blotchy complexion and signs of premature ageing. It also reduces the effectiveness of the follow on products in your routine.

Ever since we started working on developing our Radiance Reveal Cleansing Balm these double sided cleansing cloths were part of the package. It wasn't until I started using face cloths myself that I realised that my skin was never properly clean when I only used my hand to cleanse.

These double sided face cloths elevate your skin cleansing routine and gives thoroughly cleansed skin, perfectly prepared for the next steps in your skincare routine - they are the perfect companion to our Radiance Reveal Cleansing Balm.

FOR DEEP CLEANSE AND MAKEUP REMOVAL

  • With a lukewarm, dampened cloth use the soft microfibre side to gently wipe away your makeup and repeat until it’s gone. You can complete this step with water only, or you can use a face wash like a cleansing balm, cream or gel cleanser of your choice - and then wipe it off with the cloth.
  • I use the Ané Radiance Reveal Cleansing Balm to dissolve makeup and impurities, and then use the microfibre side of the cloth to wipe it all away.
  • On occasions when I don’t use a balm cleanser I use water only with the cloth.

GENTLE EXFOLIATING EFFECT

  • Once your face is cleansed, use the damp cloth’s muslin side to very gently sweep over your face, avoiding the sensitive eye area.
  • No need to rub, tug or scrub, especially around the eye area.
  • The microfibre side is gentle enough for the eye area.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR CLOTHS

  • Hand wash in warm water or machine wash 86-104F
  • Do not tumble dry. Air dry only.
  • Do not iron.
  • Avoid using bleach and fabric softener
  • Wash with similar colours

FREQUENCY

  • Depending on how much makeup and product I remove I alternate my cloths every 2-3 days. If I've removed a full face of evening makeup I may use my cloth only once and pop it in the wash.
