Fermentis Yeast INGREDIENTS YeastKit Contents: 3 x Yeast Sachet, 1 x Oak Chip Sachet (20g): Medium toasted French oak, enhancing the mead with flavors of caramel, toffee, vanilla and sweetness. An alternative is to pitch the yeast directly into the fermenter, ensuring the wort temperature is above 20 C. Gradually sprinkle the yeast into the wort, ensuring the yeast covers the entire surface, to avoid lumps. Let stand for 30 minutes, then mix by aeration or by adding wort. REHYDRATION INSTRUCTIONS: Sprinkle the yeast into 10 times its weight of sterile water or wort at a temperature of 27 C 3 C. Let stand for 15 to 30 minutes. Stir gently for 30 minutes, then pitch the resulting cream into the fermenter. FERMENTATION TEMPERATURE: 9-22 C, ideally 12-15 C. Yeast from Weihenstephan in Germany, renowned worldwide in the brewing industry for the production of bottom-fermented beers. Saflager W-34 70 produces beers with very well-balanced fruity and floral aromas, excellent drinkability, and fine flavors. Levure Fermentis INGRÉDIENTS LevureContenu du Kit : 3 x Sachet de Levure ,1 x Sachet de Copeaux de Chêne (20g) : Chêne français moyennement grillé, rehaussant l'hydromel avec des saveurs de caramel, toffee, vanille et douceur. Une alternative consiste à ensemencer la levure directement dans le fermenteur, en s'assurant que la température du moût est supérieure à 20 C. Saupoudrer progressivement la levure dans le moût en s'assurant que la levure couvre toute la surface, pour éviter les grumeaux. Laisser reposer 30 minutes, puis mélanger par aération ou par addition de moût. INSTRUCTIONS DE RÉHYDRATATION : Saupoudrer la levure dans 10 fois son poids d'eau ou de moût stérile à une température de 27 C 3 C. Laisser reposer 15 à 30 minutes. Remuer délicatement pendant 30 minutes, puis ensemencer la crème obtenue dans le fermenteur. TEMPÉRATURE DE FERMENTATION : 9-22 C idéalement 12-15 C.
