Demotec is a two-component resin for treating bovine lameness. After cleaning the healthy hoof (with a hoof knife and rasp), a wooden hoof pad coated with Demotec resin is applied. Raising the healthy hoof will relieve pressure on the affected hoof. This reduced pressure on the affected hoof promotes rapid healing and reduces weight loss or decreased milk production. Packaging: box of 2. The Demotec 90 mixture forms a very fluid (liquid) paste. After 2 to 3 minutes, the mixture thickens and becomes a paste, at which point it can be spread on the healthy hoof and the wooden hoof pad. After 7 to 8 minutes, the Demotec 90 mixture hardens completely.

Demotec est une résine bi-composée pour le traitement des boiteries bovines. Après nettoyage (rénette et râpe) de l'onglon sain, on applique sur ce dernier une semelle en bois avec la résine Demotec. Le rehaussement de l'onglon sain soulagera l'onglon malade. Cet allègement de la pression sur l'onglon malade favorisera une guérison rapide et atténuera la perte de poids ou de production laitière. Après 2 à 3 minutes, le mélange s'épaissit et devient pâteux, il est alors possible de l'étaler sur l'onglon sain et sur la talonnette en bois.
