Using a Stove Top Moka.

A stovetop espresso pot and it is a traditional Italian method of making good, strong coffee. The Moka ( the actual coffee maker ) makes wonderful, rich and delicious, full flavoured espresso and is used all around the world.

Using steam pressure to force water through a strainer, resulting in a brew that is slightly weaker than pump type espresso machines, but still providing a wonderful homemade craft brewed espresso! How to use your stove top espresso maker - you moka. Be your own Barista!

Follow the steps below to enjoy our A.Genco Espressos at home!

Fill the boiler up with hot water to the fill line or just below the steam release valve. Fill the filter basket with ground coffee, not too tightly packed or tamped as the steam pressure will not push water through easily. Re-Assemble the Moka pot. Set the stovetop temperature to medium-low and as soon as the brew flows into the upper chamber, remove the Moka pot from the stovetop immediately. Moka pot coffee is best served fresh. Be careful when you take a sip, as it will be very hot! Enjoy!
