Healing Effects of Wheatgrass

Clinical and research evidence has revealed the'Grass Juice Factor'to have, probably by the stimulation of human growth factors, a powerful effect on the regeneration of damaged skin and the body in general. Thehealing effects of wheatgrassare frequently attributed to chlorophyll, but I believe this hypothesis has little or no substance. What is Wheatgrass Extract?

The only active ingredient in all Dr Wheatgrass products is "Wheatgrass Extract".

According to a study performed by a group of Indian scientists (Kulkarni et. al.) in 2006, the scientists found antioxidant levels of wheatgrass extract were:

Highest at the end of the growing period (15 days).
Up to30 higherin alcohol-extracted solutions compared with freshly juiced wheatgrass.
Highest in soil with nutrients.
Higher than many natural extracts and vegetables.
Antioxidant level is significantlylower in the wheatgrass tabletcompared with both fresh juice and alcohol-extracted solutions.

Dr Wheatgrass Supershots

Indications: Improved immunity, energy and stamina.
Direction: Adults - 5mls per day (1 capful) Children under 12, 2.5mls per day (1 2 capful)
Ingredients: Triticum vulgare aestivum (wheat) sprout extract, purified water, fructose(natural, from fruit, less than 1 daily value), glycerol, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate.

Indications:Dry or troubled skin, skin recovery and repair. Natural moisturizer, blackhead cleanser and anti-ageing.
Direction: Apply once or twice daily as required. In some cases, extended regular application may be required. May be safely applied to raw, chafed or cracked skin.
Ingredients: Purified water, capryllic capric triglyceride, cetearyl alcohol, Triticum vulgare (wheat) sprout extract, glyceryl stearate, glycerine, ceteareth 20, stearic acid, glyceryl caprylate, sodium benzoate, xanthan gum, Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, tocopherol, potassium sorbate.

Lanolin and gluten free. No animal products or testing.
