Acalmycin was developed by the same manufacturer as the popular A313 product. It creates and maintains a moist climate suitable for the treatment of superficial and minor burns, including sunburn. The emulsion helps to bring water into the dermis and the thicker the applied layer, the greater the amount of hydration.

Acalmycin is a dense emulsion that treats irritated and burned skin It has been used in clinical practice in Europe and the United States for over thirty years in the treatment of radiodermatitis. Its moisturizing and emollient properties moisturize the upper layers of the epidermis while repairing and renewing the skin.

Applied to wounds, sunburn, first and second degree burns, the emulsion is very well tolerated and is also suitable for sensitive and irritated skin. It helps maintain healthy and well-hydrated skin by encapsulating moisture deep in the epidermis. Acalmicin effectively reduces discomfort and pain caused by burns, wounds or other skin irritations.

Since A313 stings and causes irritation, it is more effective when used together with Acalmicine.
