Product Features and Usage Recommendations
• Actolind w Solution should be used for cleaning and irrigating the wound surface before treatment. Rinsing is not required.
• Materials such as Aclind Sterile Gauze Compress, bandages, wound dressings, pads, etc. can be used for cleaning purposes by wetting them with Actolind w Solution.
• For optimal wound cleansing, it is recommended to soak wounds with deep and dense necrotic tissue for at least 10-15 minutes with a moistened compress.
• Actolind w Gel can be applied in combination with Actolind w Solution.
• Actolind w Solution effectively cleans the wound surface, while Actolind w Gel protects and moisturizes it.
• Actolind w Gel mechanically prevents the adhesion of pathogenic microorganisms to the wound surface by forming a protective film between the wound surface and the dressing.
• Actolind w Solution facilitates the removal of biofilms, while Actolind w Gel prevents biofilm formation.
• Actolind w Gel forms a thin protective layer on the wound surface, protecting it from external factors. It increases the effectiveness of the dressing by filling the space between the wound surface and the dressing, while also preventing the dressing from sticking to the wound.
• Actolind w Solution can be warmed to body temperature before use.
• Actolind w Gel protects and moisturizes the wound surface.
• Actolind w Solution has a pH value of 5-7.5.

Indications
• Acute wounds, infected or not.
• Chronic wounds, whether infected or not.
