: Helichrysum italicum is a flowering plant of the daisy family Asteraceae. It is sometimes called the curry plant because of the strong smell of its leaves. Other common names include Italian strawflower and immortelle. It grows on dry, rocky or sandy soil around the Mediterranean Sea. The stems are woody at the base and can grow 60 centimeters or more in height. It is a hermaphrodite with gray-green leaves and sometimes produces small spherical yellow flowers that are pollinated by insects in spring or July and August. It has a strong, floral scent like honey. The name Helichrysum comes from the Greek words " ? sun" and " ?s gold". Used in dried plant compositions because the heads have the ability to be preserved after drying. Due to the intense scent of the leaves and flowers, Helichrysum is used in perfumery and aromatherapy as a fixative in both the essential oil and floral absolute forms.Gedroogde Helichrysum Immortelle Eeuwige Bloemen 85g - 1.95Kg (1950 gram) : Helichrysum italicum is een bloeiende plant van de madeliefjesfamilie Asteraceae.
