Lake Garda, with its special microclimate, gives rise to extra virgin olive oils with unique characteristics: here is produced "Imperial," the oil that most respects the typical characteristics of the Garda region, which boasts the northernmost olive-growing tradition in the world. Here, olive cultivation has been passed down from generation to generation for over 2,000 years. Agraria Riva del Garda is committed to the disciplined production of extra virgin olive oil with the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Garda Trentino, recognized by the EC in 1998. From then until 2006, it was the only company to produce certified extra virgin olive oil with the Garda Trentino PDO, and it produces the majority of it. Imperial Garda Trentino PDO is a blend created from three olive varieties: Casaliva, Crusher, and Leccino. An extra virgin olive oil whose distinctive appearance has always evoked the history of the Trentino highlands and its ties to the Austrian Imperial Court that ruled these lands a century ago. Tasting Notes Agraria Riva del Garda's "Imperial" extra virgin olive oil is yellow green in color. It has a medium fruitiness and herbaceous notes, with a noticeable but subtle hint of bitterness and a more pronounced peppery finish.

DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT Le lac de Garde, avec son microclimat spécial, de vie à des huiles extra vierges aux caractéristiques uniques : ici est produit « Impérial » l'huile qui respecte le plus typique du territoire de la Garde, c'est-à-dire celle à la tradition oléicole la plus nord du monde. Dans celui-ci, la culture de l'olivier se transmet depuis plus de 2 000 ans de génération en génération. Agraria Riva del Garda se fait promesse du disciplinaire de production de l'huile d'olive extra vierge à appellation d'origine protégée Garda Trentin, reconnu par la CE en 1998. Depuis lors, jusqu'en 2006, elle a été la seule entreprise à produire de l'huile extra vierge certifiée avec la DOP Garda Trentino et elle en produit la plupart des pièces. Impériale Garda Trentino DOP est un blend né de la rupture de trois variétés d'olives, Casaliva, broyeur et Leccino. Un extra vierge dont la robe graphique a toujours voulu rappeler l'histoire du Haut-Garde Trentin et les liens avec la Cour impériale autrichienne qui a dominé ces terres il y a cent ans. Notes de dégustation L'huile d'olive extra vierge « Impériale » d'Agraria Riva del Garda à la vue se présente jaune vert. C'est un fruité moyen, herbacé avec évident, mais léger, sensation d'amer et plus vive de piquant.
