AKSU VITAL CAROB EXTRACT
:Growing naturally in regions with a Mediterranean climate, carob is used for many different purposes, from its tree to its fruit, and from its fruit to its seed. In our country, carob is known locally as "Harnup" (Carob), "Harup" (Harup), "Boynuz" (Horn), "Buynuz" (Buynuz), and "Kerti" (Kerti).
Common Misconceptions About Carob Molasses
Because carob production is carried out under vacuum, the temperature does not exceed 60 C. Therefore, the HMF level does not increase. This substance is a compound analyzed as an indicator for production control. A high level of this substance indicates that other undesirable, harmful compounds, namely carcinogens, are also formed at high levels.
Is the Cold Pressing Method Used in Carob Molasses?
The cold process is absolutely impossible in the production of carob molasses. Cold pressing is used to extract oil from various oilseeds using mechanical methods. This method involves production at temperatures below 27 C and is not used in carob production. If production is carried out at such low temperatures, microorganisms can grow in the resulting product. Preservatives must be used to prevent growth. The product becomes harmful, not beneficial. It contains no additives, sugar, or preservatives.
