Compound chocolate is a coating product that can be used in all coated products, including chestnut candy, Turkish delight, sweets, and cakes.
Produced using vegetable oils, cocolin offers a price advantage due to the difference in oil content. Its ability to cool and crisp quickly, as well as its ability to easily coat, makes it easy to use when coating.
European Union harmonization laws state that chocolate is a product containing cocoa butter. Compound chocolate is a product containing vegetable oil. The distinguishing feature between chocolate and cocolin is cocoa butter, the ingredient that highlights the quality of chocolate.
The cocolin coating is more durable during production, storage, and sales. It is a product manufactured as a chocolate substitute, complying with the Turkish Food Codex.
Protect the product from air, light, and moisture. Store in a cool, dry place between 18-22 C, away from odors and direct light. (max. 0 humidity). Do not expose to extreme temperature changes. Do not store in a refrigerator.
Shelf Life: Under appropriate storage conditions, the shelf life is 22 months.

WHAT IS COMPOUND CHOCOLATE?
The most important feature that distinguishes compound chocolate from couverture is that it is softer than couverture when melted and dried, preventing cracking or breaking. Compound chocolates generally contain less cocoa than couverture. For this reason, compound chocolates are more affordable than couverture. There is no noticeable difference in flavor between compound chocolates, which contain less cocoa than couverture.
