ALFASOL SODIUM BENZOATE (E211)

Sodium Benzoate is the sodium salt of benzoic acid. It is a food additive with the E code E211.

Sodium Benzoate is white in color and is produced in powder or granular form.

Sodium Benzoate Usage:

Sodium benzoate (E 211) is used to prevent microorganism growth in acidic foods.

It is used as an antimicrobial agent in pharmaceuticals, as well as in foods such as soda, fruit juices, and pickles.

It is widely used in ketchup and ketchup-like sauces, margarine, olives, marmalade, and processed fish.

When used with Potassium Sorbate, it prevents mold and yeast growth.

Dosage:2 Gr 1 Kg Finished Product

Note: The pH of the final product should be below 5. Sodium Benzoate (E211) loses its activity at pH levels of 5 and above.

Potasyum Sorbat ile beraber kullanildiginda küf ve maya gelisimini engellemektedir.
