Tahini is the form of sesame seeds that have been crushed and processed into a fluid oil. After sifting, peeling, and separating the seeds, good-quality sesame seeds are washed and roasted at 150-200 C for 2 to 3 hours. They are then left to cool to room temperature. In addition to being rich in omega-3 fatty acids, tahini, thanks to its rich content, helps prevent diseases caused by inflammation in the heart.
