Almost 30 years ago, Hubertus Trouillé’s passion for holistic science lead to the development of Almased – a product he created to help his patients with their slow metabolism. Activating the metabolism in overweight patients automatically resulted in the reduction of unhealthy body fat. An effective weight loss supplement was created: The Almased Weight Loss Phenomenon. This initial 'side effect' has since become the main reason why many people use Almased. From its beginnings in the quaint town of Bienenbüttel, Germany, Almased has not only become the market leader in Germany, but continues to grow world-wide.

Today, the company is owned and operated by Hubertus Trouillé’s son, André Trouillé. During his time as managing director, Almased has extended not only their product line, but also expanded into markets like the US, Canada, Austria, Switzerland and parts of the UK. Over 15 years of scientific studies support the positive effects of Almased. Almased is still manufactured under the same quality standards and patented processes as it was when originally developed. The family-owned business Almased continues to pursue the main focus of Hubertus Trouillé by combining nature with passion to create products that improve health and increase quality of life.
