They can be used as a skin toner a cooling body mist added to bath water as a fragrant linen spray or in the making of soaps and creams. Excellent for cleansing and fortifying all skin types they also have a relaxing and calming effect. What are Hydrolats and Hydrosols? Many use the terms interchangeably. Our definitions are that a Hydrolat is the water recovered from the distillation of the essential oil. A Hydrosol is an essential oil dissolved in water.
