Keemun black tea, produced in Keemun County, Anhui Province, is the jewel of Chinese black tea. It is the most famous of all Chinese black teas. Due to its subtle and complex nature, it is considered the "Burgundy of teas." For over 120 years, since 1875 when it was first produced, it has enjoyed worldwide renown, earning such accolades as "the Ace of the Three Aromatic Teas of the World" and even being praised as "the Queen of Fragrance" and "a prodigy of teas" in London, the world's largest black tea market.

Brewing instructions: Use 5 grams of tea per 200 ml of water. Heat the water to 95 C (180 F) and let it steep for one minute. Add 30 seconds to subsequent infusions. Adjust the amount of tea leaves, steeping time, and water temperature to suit your preferences. The reddish-brown tea liquor has a full, robust flavor. The strong, lingering aroma, reminiscent of both fruit and rose, is the distinctive flavor of Keemun black tea, hence its name, "Keemun flavor." It is a mellow tea that can be enjoyed on its own or with sugar and or milk. Due to its wine-like qualities, lemon should not be offered, as the combined flavors are too acidic. Keemun black tea has a slim, elegant appearance.
