ANTIOX-C Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP) powder is a water-soluble, generally non-irritating, stable derivative of Vitamin C and is a potent antioxidant. When used topically, MAP has the same potential as vitamin C to support skin's collagen and elastin, resulting in firmer, smoother and more youthful skin appearance, with diminished appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and blemishes but MAP is effective in significantly lower concentrations. Safety Measures Side Effects: Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate is generally considered more gentle than traditional Vitamin C and therefore is milder on sensitive skin. However, those with sensitive skin may need to be aware of Vitamin C's acidic and exfoliating effects.
