The active components of the drug with different mechanisms of action, gradually released from the surface of the tape, provide a wide spectrum of its antiparasitic activity against larval and mature phases of development of fleas, lice, chewing lice, ixodid, sarcoptic ticks and nematodes of the gastrointestinal tract (Toxocara spp., Toxascaris spp., Trichuris vulpis and Ancylostoma spp.), parasitizing in dogs and cats.
Fipronil and pyriproxyfen, practically not absorbed through the skin, are gradually distributed over the surface of the animal's body, accumulate in the epidermis, hair follicles, sebaceous glands and have a long-term contact insectoacaricidal effect.
Ivermectin has a contact and systemic insectoacaricidal and nematocidal effect, accumulates in the epidermis and subcutaneous fiber.
The mechanism of action of fipronil and ivermectin is based on their effect on the magnitude of chloride ion current through the membranes of nerve and muscle cells of the parasite.
The main targets are glutamate-sensitive chloride channels, as well as gamma-aminobutyric acid receptors.
Changes in the chloride ion current disrupt the conduction of nerve impulses, which leads to paralysis and death of the parasites.
Pyriproxyfen, by disrupting the processes of chitin synthesis and larval molting, prevents the development of full-fledged pupae and causes the death of insects in the preimaginal stages of development, which leads to a cessation of replenishment of the ectoparasite population.

Входящие в состав препарата активные компоненты с разным механизмом действия, постепенно выделяясь с поверхности ленты, обеспечивают широкий спектр его противопаразитарной активности в отношении личиночных и половозрелых фаз развития блох, вшей, власоедов, иксодовых, саркоптоидных клещей и нематод желудочно-кишечного тракта (Toxocara spp., Toxascaris spp., Trichuris vulpis и Ancylostoma spp.), паразитирующих у собак и кошек.
Фипронил и пирипроксифен, практически не всасываясь через кожный покров, постепенно распределяются по поверхности тела животного, накапливаются в эпидермисе, волосяных луковицах, сальных железах и оказывают длительное контактное инсектоакарицидное действие.
Ивермектин обладает контактным и системным инсектоакарицидным и нематодоцидным действием, накапливается в эпидермисе и подкожной клетчатке.
Механизм действия фипронила и ивермектина заключается в его воздействии на величину тока ионов хлора через мембраны нервных и мышечных клеток паразита. Основной мишенью являются глутаматчувствительные хлорные каналы, а также рецепторы гамма-аминомасляной кислоты. Изменение тока ионов хлора нарушает проведение нервных импульсов, что приводит к параличу и гибели паразитов.
Пирипроксифен, нарушая процессы синтеза хитина и линьки личинок, препятствует развитию полноценных куколок и вызывает гибель насекомых на преимагинальных фазах развития, что приводит к прекращению восполнения популяции эктопаразитов.
