Praziquantel, which is part of the suspension, increases the permeability of cell membranes for calcium ions and inhibits the parasite enzyme, fumarate reductase, causing spastic muscle contraction, turning into paralysis.
Pyrantel pamoate acts as A depolarizing neuromuscular ganglionic blocker that paralyzes the muscles of roundworms.
Prazicide tablets are administered to animals individually once during the morning feeding with a small amount of food or a treat in the following doses: Cats: 1 tablet per 3 kg.
A preliminary fasting diet and the use of laxatives are not required.
In case of severe infestation, deworming is recommended to be repeated after 10 days.
For prophylactic purposes, deworming is carried out at a therapeutic dose quarterly, as well as before each vaccination.

Празицид таблетки - комбинированный препарат, обладающий широким спектром активности в отношении всех стадий развития круглых и ленточных гельминтов, таких как Toxocara canis, Toxocara mystax, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria spp., Ancylostoma spp., Trichuris vulpis, Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Mesocestoides lineatus, Diphyllobothrium latum, Dipylidium caninum, Multiceps multiceps, Taenia spp., паразитирующих у плотоядных животных (собак и кошек).
Входящий в состав суспензии празиквантел, повышает проницаемость клеточных мембран для ионов кальция и угнетает фермент паразита - фумаратредуктазу, вызывая спастическое сокращение мускулатуры, переходящее в паралич.
Пирантел памоат действует как деполяризующий нейромышечный ганглиоблокатор, парализующий мускулатуру круглых червей.
Празицид таблетки применяют животным индивидуально однократно в утреннее кормление с небольшим количеством корма или лакомства в следующих дозах: Кошки 1 таблетка на 3 кг. Предварительной голодной диеты и применения слабительных средств не требуется.
При сильной степени инвазии дегельминтизацию рекомендуется повторить через 10 дней. С профилактической целью дегельминтизацию проводят в терапевтической дозе ежеквартально, а также перед каждой вакцинацией.
