Dirofen-paste 20 and 60 refers to combined anthelmintic drugs. Thanks to praziquantel and pyrantel included in the preparation, it has a broad spectrum of anthelmintic action on mature and larval stages of development of round and tapeworms parasitizing in dogs and cats (Toxocara canis, Toxocara mistax, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Trichuris vulpis, Ancylostoma caninum, Echinococcus granulosus, Alveococcus multilocularis, Mesocestoides lineatus, Dipylidium caninum, Diphyllobotrium latum, Multiceps multiceps), in ferrets (Toxoscaris leonina, Toxocara cati and Ancylastoma sp, Taenia solium, Fasciola hepatica) and in decorative rodents (Syphacia obvelata, Syphacia muris, Aspiculuris tetraptera, Rodentolepis straminea, Hymenolepis nana, Hymenolepis diminuta). It is prescribed to dogs, cats, kittens, puppies, decorative rodents and ferrets for prophylactic and therapeutic purposes for nematodosis (toxocariasis, toxascariasis, uncinariasis, trichuriasis, ancylostomiasis), cestodiasis (taeniasis, dipylidiasis, echinococcosis, diphyllobothriasis, mesocestoidosis) and mixed nematode-cestodial infestations. Dirofen-paste 20 and 60 are used by animals individually, once, in the morning feeding with a small amount of food or forcibly administered to the root of the tongue using a dosing syringe in the doses indicated in the instructions. A preliminary fasting diet and the use of laxatives are not required. In case of severe infestation, deworming is recommended to be repeated after 10 days. For preventative purposes, deworming is carried out at a therapeutic dose once every 3 months, as well as before each vaccination.

Благодаря входящим в состав препарата празиквантелу и пирантелу, он обладает широким спектром антигельминтного действия на половозрелые и личиночные стадии развития круглых и ленточных гельминтов, паразитирующих у собак и кошек (Тохосаra саnis, Тохосаra mistax, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Trichuris vulpis, Ancylostoma caninum, Echinococcus granulosus, Alveococcus multilocularis, Mesocestoides lineatus, Dipylidium caninum, Diphyllobotrium latum, Multiceps multiceps), у хорьков (Toxoscaris leonina, Toxocara cati и Ancylastoma sp, Taenia solium, Fasciola hepatica) и у декоративных грызунов (Syphacia obvelata, Syphacia muris, Aspiculuris tetraptera, Rodentolepis straminea, Hymenolepis nana, Hymenolepis diminuta).назначают собакам, кошкам, котятам, щенкам, декоративным грызунам и хорькам с профилактической и лечебной целью при нематодозах (токсокароз, токсаскаридоз, унцинариоз, трихоцефалез, анкилостомоз), цестодозах (тениидоз, дипилидиоз, эхинококкоз, дифиллоботриоз, мезоцестоидоз) и смешанных нематодо-цестодозных инвазиях.Дирофен-пасту 20 и 60 применяют животным индивидуально, однократно, в утреннее кормление с небольшим количеством корма или вводят принудительно на корень языка с помощью шприца-дозатора в дозах, указанных в инструкции.Предварительной голодной диеты и применения слабительных средств не требуется. При сильной степени инвазии дегельминтизацию рекомендуется повторить через 10 дней.С профилактической целью дегельминтизацию проводят в терапевтической дозе один раз в 3 месяца, а также перед каждой вакцинацией.
