The combination of praziquantel and pyrantel pamoate included in the drug has a broad spectrum of anthelmintic action on all phases of development of round and tapeworms parasitizing in dogs, cats, ferrets (Toxocara canis, Toxocara mystax, Toxascaris leonina, Taenia solium, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum, Echinococcus granulosus, Alveococcus multilocularis, Mesocestoides lineatus, Dipylidium caninum, Diphyllobothrium latum, Multiceps multiceps) and in decorative rodents (Syphacia obvelata, Syphacia muris, Aspiculuris tetraptera, Rodentolepis straminea, Hymenolepis nana, Hymenolepis diminuta).
Dirofen-suspension 60 is prescribed to adult dogs and cats, for prophylactic and therapeutic purposes for nematodosis (toxocariasis, toxascariasis, uncinariasis, ancylostomiasis), cestodiasis (taeniasis, dipylidiasis, echinococcosis, diphyllobothriasis, mesocestoidosis) and mixed nematode-cestodial invasions.
Dirofen-suspension 20 and 60 are used orally by animals individually, once, in the morning feeding with a small amount of food or forcibly administered to the root of the tongue using a dosing syringe.
in the following doses:
adult dogs and cats - 1 ml of Dirofen-suspension 60 per 3 kg of animal weight;
puppies, kittens, ferrets and decorative rodents - 1 ml of Dirofen-suspension 20 per 1 kg of weight animal.
A preliminary fasting diet and the use of laxatives are not required.
In case of a severe infestation, deworming is recommended to be repeated after 10 days.
For preventive purposes, deworming is carried out once every 3 months, and also before each vaccination.

Комбинация входящих в состав препарата празиквантела и пирантела памоата обладает широким спектром антигельминтного действия на все фазы развития круглых и ленточных гельминтов, паразитирующих у собак, кошек, хорьков (Тохосаra саnis, Тохосаra mystax, Toxascaris leonina, Taenia solium, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum, Echinococcus granulosus, Alveococсus multilocularis, Mesocestoides lineatus, Dipylidium caninum, Diphyllobothrium latum, Multiceps multiceps) и у декоративных грызунов (Syphacia obvelata, Syphacia muris, Aspiculuris tetraptera, Rodentolepis straminea, Hymenolepis nana, Hymenolepis diminuta).Дирофен-суспензию 60 назначают взрослым собакам и кошкам, с профилактической и лечебной целью при нематодозах (токсокароз, токсаскаридоз, унцинариоз, анкилостомоз), цестодозах (тениидоз, дипилидиоз, эхинококкоз, дифиллоботриоз, мезоцестоидоз) и смешанных нематодо-цестодозных инвазиях.Дирофен-суспензию 20 и 60 применяют животным перорально индивидуально, однократно, в утреннее кормление с небольшим количеством корма или вводят принудительно на корень языка с помощью шприца-дозатора
в следующих дозах:
взрослым собакам и кошкам — 1 мл Дирофен-суспензии 60 на 3 кг массы животного;
щенкам, котятам, хорькам и декоративным грызунам — 1 мл Дирофен-суспензии 20 на 1 кг массы животного.
Предварительной голодной диеты и применения слабительных средств не требуется.
При сильной степени инвазии дегельминтизацию рекомендуется повторить через 10 дней.
С профилактической целью дегельминтизацию проводят один раз в 3 месяца, а также перед каждой вакцинацией.
