Black EditionWe selected a high-altitude area on the northern side of the Kaz Mountains for the production of our Kaz Mountains Black Honey. Since there is no vehicle access to the area, which is quite far from industrial zones, residential areas, and agricultural areas where our hives are located, some distances must be walked.
The Department of Medical Biochemistry and the Faculty of Pharmacy of a prestigious university have been conducting numerous scientific studies on this honey since 2018. The university prepared an article on its scientific studies, and our article was published in SAGE, the world's most prestigious medical journal, in 2019. Scientific studies are still ongoing.
The Kaz Mountains are one of the rare regions in the world that hosts a unique ecosystem community. Studies show that there are approximately 900 plant species belonging to 101 families. Of these species, 73 are endemic, 37 of which occur only in the Kaz Mountains.
