Apoquel is prescribed to dogs for dermatitis caused by allergies (flea, contact, food, parasitic), and for atopic dermatitis to relieve itching and reduce inflammation.
Apoquel is administered orally, alone or mixed with food, at a single dose of 0.4-0.6 mg of oclacitinib per 1 kg of animal weight 2 times a day for no more than 14 days. Then, as maintenance therapy for atopic dermatitis, once a day at the same dose. The scheme and duration of the course of treatment depend on the etiology and pathogenesis of dermatitis, the clinical condition of the animal and are determined by the attending veterinarian.

Апоквел назначают собакам при дерматите, вызванным аллергией (блошиной, контактной, пищевой, паразитарной), и при атопическом дерматите для устранения зуда и уменьшения воспаления.
Апоквел применяют перорально самостоятельно или в смеси с кормом, в разовой дозе 0,4-0,6 мг оклацитиниба на 1 кг массы животного 2 раза в день в течении не более 14 дней. Далее в качестве поддерживающей терапии при атопическом дерматите один раз в сутки в той же дозе. Схема и длительность курса применения препарата зависят от этиологии и патогенеза дерматита, клинического состояния животного и определяются лечащим ветеринарным врачом. Следует избегать пропусков при введении очередной дозы препарата, так как это может привести к снижению эффективности. В случае пропуска очередной дозы, применение Апоквела возобновляют в соответствии с настоящей инструкцией. Не следует применять Апоквел совместно с иммунодепрессантами и противосудорожными препаратами.
