Kukicha ( ) is a traditional Japanese green tea blend made with tea stems, the lowest in caffeine among traditional teas. It is composed of four harvests of Camellia sinensis tea. The first harvest is a selection of lower leaves from three-year-old semi-wild plants, picked in the autumn. The second harvest consists of thick stems picked every 10 years in the heart of winter. The last two harvests are thin stems picked annually in March and June. Kukicha has rich, nutty, woody, and amber flavors with refreshing notes typical of Japanese teas. DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT Le kukicha ( ?) est un mélange traditionnel de thé vert japonais avec les tiges du thé, le moins riche en caféine des thés traditionnels. Composé de quatre cueillettes de thé (Camellia sinensis). La première cueillette est une sélection de feuilles basses de plants semi-sauvages de trois ans, cueillies à l'automne.
