Oxidant Selection
Oxidant is a creamy liquid that activates the dye. One of the most important elements of hair dyeing is choosing the right oxidant. Choosing an unsuitable oxidant for the process you will perform may produce undesirable results. For this reason, you should choose your oxidant as carefully and meticulously as you choose your dye. Be sure to use the same brand of oxidant as the dye you choose. You can easily choose the oxidant that is suitable for the process you will apply from the table below.
20 Vol. Oxidant: For covering gray hair, lightening 1-2 tones and dyeing the hair to the same tone,
30 Vol Oxidant: For lightening the hair up to 2-3 tones,
40 Vol. Oxidant: Should be preferred for lightening the hair 3-4 tones and for highlights and balayage applications.
Mixing
Use a non-metallic mixing bowl and mixer to prepare the mixture. Select the appropriate oxidant for the application you will apply. Mix 1 tube of dye with the same ratio of oxidant cream. Use 50ml oxidant for 50ml dye. Mix the dye and oxidant until you obtain a smooth texture.
Application
Root Dyeing
Apply the mixture evenly to unwashed, dry hair roots. Leave on for 35 minutes. Rinse the hair with plenty of warm water until the water runs clear. Wash and rinse with color protection shampoo.
White Covering
If the white ratio is up to 50 , mix the desired color with the same amount of oxidant. In order to cover the whites that cover more than 50 of the hair, you should also get help from the main color tone. Mix the main color with the same amount of oxidant as the dye you choose. If you are mixing 50ml of dye with 50ml of main color, you should add a total of 100ml of oxidant. Apply the dye to unwashed, dry hair. Start applying the dye from the front and end at the sides. After waiting 20 minutes, you can make a second application to the areas where the whites are dense. After waiting for a total of 35 minutes, rinse the hair with plenty of warm water until clean water runs clear. Then wash and rinse with color protection shampoo.
Dyeing Natural Hair
Start by applying the dye to the lengths and ends of unwashed and dry hair. After waiting for 20-25 minutes, apply the dye to the roots of the hair and wait for another 30-35 minutes. Before washing the hair, massage to mix the dye on the roots and lengths of the hair. Rinse the hair with plenty of warm water until clean water runs clear. Wash and rinse with color protection shampoo.
Color Change
Start by applying the dye to the roots of unwashed and dry hair. After waiting for 25-30 minutes, continue the application to the lengths and ends of the hair. After waiting for another 5-10 minutes, rinse the hair with plenty of warm water until the water runs clear. Wash and rinse with color protection shampoo.
