Prazitel Special suspension belongs to the group of combined anthelmintic drugs.
The combination of R-praziquantel and pyrantel pamoate included in the drug provides a wide spectrum of its anthelmintic action on all phases of development of round and tapeworms parasitizing in cats and dogs, including Toxocara cati, Toxocara canis, Toxocara mystax, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum, Echinococcus multilocularis, Echinococcus granulosus, Mesocestoides lineatus, Taenia spp., Dipylidium caninum, Diphyllobotrium latum, Multiceps multiceps.
Indications for use:
Prescribed for prophylactic and therapeutic purposes to dogs over 6 years old for nematodosis (toxocariasis, toxascaris, uncinariasis, ancylostomiasis), cestodiasis (dipylidiasis, taeniasis, echinococcosis, diphyllobothriasis, mesocestoidosis) and associative nematode-cestodiasis invasions.
CONTRAINDICATIONS Increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug, including in the anamnesis, severe renal and hepatic dysfunction.
Application procedure:
The drug is administered to animals orally once in the morning feeding with a small amount of food or administered forcibly using a dosing syringe, at a dose of 1 ml per 5 kg of animal weight.
Before each use, the suspension in the bottle should be shaken thoroughly for 1-2 minutes.
A preliminary fasting diet and the use of laxatives before deworming are not required.
For therapeutic purposes, deworming of animals is carried out according to indications.
In case of severe infestation, it is recommended to repeat the treatment after 10 days.
Preventive deworming of animals is carried out once every 3 months, and also 10-14 days before vaccination.

Показания к применению:
Назначают с профилактической и лечебной целью собакам старше 6 лет при нематодозах (токсокароз, токсаскариоз, унцинариоз, анкилостомоз), цестодозах (дипилидиоз, тениидоз, эхинококкоз, дифиллоботриоз, мезоцестоидоз) и ассоциативных нематодозно-цестодозных инвазиях.
ПРОТИВОПОКАЗАНИЯ Повышенная индивидуальная чувствительность животного к компонентам препарата, в том числе в анамнезе, выраженные нарушения функции почек и печени.
Порядок применения:
Препарат применяют животным перорально однократно в утреннее кормление с небольшим количеством корма или вводят принудительно с помощью шприца-дозатора, в дозе – 1 мл на 5 кг массы животного.
Перед каждым использованием суспензию во флаконе следует тщательно взболтать в течение 1-2 минут.
Предварительной голодной диеты и применения слабительных средств перед дегельминтизацией не требуется.
С лечебной целью дегельминтизацию животных проводят по показаниям. При сильной степени инвазии обработку рекомендуется повторить через 10 дней.
Профилактическую дегельминтизацию животных проводят один раз в 3 месяца, а также за 10-14 дней до вакцинации.
