Composition and release form:
Prazitel tablets for cats (tablet weight 0.32 g) contain praziquantel - 20.0 mg and pyrantel pamoate - 200.0 mg as active ingredients, and potato starch - 10.0 mg, lactose - 80.0 mg, sodium croscarmellose - 6.0 mg, calcium stearate - 3.1 mg, gelatin - 0.9 mg as auxiliary substances.
Pharmacological properties:
Prazitel tablets belong to combination anthelmintic drugs.
The combination of praziquantel and pyrantel pamoate included in the drug provides a broad spectrum of anthelmintic action on all stages of development of round and tapeworms parasitizing cats, kittens and puppies, incl.
Toxocara canis, Toxocara mystax, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma spp., Echinococcus granulosus, Alveococcus multilocularis, Mesocestoides lineatus, Dipylidium caninum, Diphyllobothrium latum.
Indications:
Prazitel tablets are prescribed to cats, kittens and puppies for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes for nematodosis (toxocariasis, toxascariasis, uncinariasis, ancylostomiasis) and cestodiasis (echinococcosis, alveococcosis, mesocestoidosis, dipylidiosis, diphyllobothriasis) and mixed nematode-cestode infestations.
Contraindications:
The drug should not be used Exhausted animals and animals suffering from infectious diseases, pregnant and lactating cats, kittens under 3 weeks of age, puppies under 2 weeks of age.
Dosage and administration:

Состав и форма выпуска:
Празител таблетки для кошек (масса таблетки 0,32 г) в качестве действующих веществ содержит празиквантел – 20,0 мг и пирантела памоат – 200,0 мг, а в качестве вспомогательных веществ крахмал картофельный – 10,0 мг, лактозу – 80,0 мг, натрий кроскармелозу – 6,0 мг, кальций стеариновокислый – 3,1 мг, желатин – 0,9 мг.
Фармакологические свойства:
Празител таблетки относятся к комбинированным антигельминтным препаратам. Комбинация входящих в состав препарата празиквантела и пирантела памоата обеспечивает широкий спектр антигельминтного действия на все фазы развития круглых и ленточных гельминтов, паразитирующих у кошек, котят и щенков, в т.ч. Toxocara canis, Toxocara mystax, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma spp., Echinococcus granulosus, Alveococcus multilocularis, Mesocestoides lineatus, Dipylidium caninum, Diphyllobothrium latum.
Показания:
Празител таблетки назначают кошкам, котятам и щенкам с лечебной и профилактической целью при нематодозах (токсокароз, токсаскаридоз, унцинариоз, анкилостомоз) и цестодозах (эхинококкоз, альвеококкоз, мезоцестоидоз, дипилидиоз, дифиллоботриоз) и смешанных нематодо-цестодозных инвазиях.
Противопоказания:
Лекарственный препарат не следует применять истощенным и больным инфекционными болезнями животным, беременным и кормящим кошкам, котятам моложе 3 недельного возраста, щенкам моложе 2 недельного возраста.
Дозы и способ применения:
Кошкам с лечебной целью назначают Празител таблетки для кошек в дозе 1 таблетка на 4 кг массы животного.
Побочные действия:
Побочных явлений при применении Празитела таблетки в соответствии с настоящей инструкцией не установлено.
Противопоказания:
Возможна индивидуальная непереносимость компонентов препарата. Празител таблетки не следует применять одновременно с антигельминтными средствами, содержащими пиперазин. Празител таблетки не предназначены для применения продуктивным животным.
