Pharmacological properties:

Anthelmintic drug with cestocidal action.

Praziquantel has a broad spectrum of anthelmintic action on all phases of development of tapeworms parasitizing dogs and cats, including Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Mesocestoides spp., Taenia spp., Dipylidium caninum and Diphyllobothrium latum.

The mechanism of action of praziquantel is to inhibit the activity of fumarate reductase, disrupt the permeability of cell membranes and muscle innervation, which leads to paralysis and death of the helminth.

Praziquantel is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, reaching peak plasma concentrations within 30-60 minutes.

It is eliminated primarily in urine within 24 hours.

Azinox for dogs and cats is classified as a low-hazard substance (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76) and, at recommended doses, does not exhibit embryotoxic, teratogenic, or sensitizing effects.

Well tolerated by dogs and cats of different breeds and ages.

Indications for use:

Prevention and treatment of cestodiasis (teniasis, dipylidiasis, echinococcosis, diphyllobothriasis, mesocestoidiasis) in dogs and cats.

Contraindications:

Individual hypersensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug.

Puppies and kittens under 3 weeks of age.

Storage conditions and periods:

Азинокс для собак и кошек по степени воздействия на организм относится к малоопасным веществам (4 класс опасности по ГОСТ 12.1.007-76), в рекомендуемых дозах не оказывает эмбриотоксического, тератогенного и сенсибилизирующего действия. Хорошо переносится собаками и кошками разных пород и возраста.

Показания к применению:

Профилактика и лечение цестодозов (тениидозы, дипилидиоз, эхинококкозы, дифиллоботриоз, мезоцестоидозы) у собак и кошек.

Противопоказания:

Индивидуальная повышенная чувствительность животного к компонентам препарата.

Щенки и котята моложе 3-недельного возраста.

Условия и сроки хранения:

Препарат следует хранить в закрытой упаковке производителя, отдельно от пищевых продуктов и кормов, в защищенном от света и влаги, недоступном для детей месте при температуре от 0°С до +25°С. Срок годности - 3 года.
