Designed for large breed dogs, one tablet contains 450 mg of pyrantel pamoate, 150 mg of praziquantel, and 0.18 mg of ivermectin.

Dose - 1 tablet per 30 kg of animal body weight.

Dironet 1000 has a broad spectrum of nematocidal and cestocidal action, is active against round and tapeworms parasitizing dogs and cats, including Toxocara canis, T.

cati, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum, Trichuris vulpis, Echinococcus granulosus, E.

multilocularis, Diphyllobothrium latum, Dipylidium caninum, Multiceps multiceps, Taenia spp., as well as larval stages of development (microfilariae) of Dirofilaria immitis and Dirofilaria repens.

The mechanism of action of ivermectin is by binding to glutamate-dependent chloride channels located mainly in swallowing and somatic muscles.

This increases membrane permeability to chloride ions, blocks neuromuscular transmission, and results in parasite paralysis and death.

Pyrantel pamoate acts by blocking neuromuscular transmission, disrupting cell membrane permeability, and inhibiting cholinesterase, which also leads to parasite paralysis and death.

Praziquantel acts by disrupting glucose transport and microtubule function in cestodes, inhibiting fumarate reductase activity and ATP synthesis, increasing cell membrane permeability, and disrupting muscle innervation.

Do not administer this drug to pregnant or lactating females, or to puppies and kittens under 3 weeks of age.

Do not administer to animals weighing less than 0.5 kg. For dogs of breeds sensitive to macrocyclic lactones, including bobtails, collies, shelties and their crossbreeds, the drug is used as directed and under the supervision of a veterinarian.

Directions for use:

For cestodiasis and nematodiasis of the gastrointestinal tract, Dironet 1000 is used individually orally for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes once in the morning feeding in the following doses: pyrantel pamoate - 15 mg / kg, praziquantel - 5 mg / kg, ivermectin - 0.006 mg / kg, at the rate of 1 Dironet 1000 tablet per 30 kg of body weight of large-breed dogs.

For prophylactic purposes, deworming is carried out quarterly, as well as before each vaccination. To reduce the number of microfilariae circulating in the blood of animals infected with D. immitis or D. repens, the drug is administered in a therapeutic dose once a month.

To prevent dirofilariasis in a region where the disease is unfavorable, Dironet 1000 is used in the spring-summer-fall period: once before the onset of mosquito summer (March-April), then monthly from April to October, and the last time in the season 1 month after the end of mosquito summer (October-November).

Механизм действия ивермектина заключается в связывании с глутамат-зависимыми хлорными каналами, расположенными преимущественно в глотательных и соматических мышцах. В результате увеличивается проницаемость мембраны для ионов хлора, блокируется передача нервно-мышечного импульса, наступает паралич и гибель паразита. Механизм действия пирантела памоата заключается в блокировании нейромышечной передачи, нарушении проницаемости клеточных мембран и угнетении холинэстеразы, что также приводит к параличу и гибели паразита. Механизм действия празиквантела основан на нарушении у цестод транспорта глюкозы и микротубулярной функции, угнетении активности фумаратредуктазы и синтеза АТФ, повышении проницаемости клеточных мембран и нарушении мышечной иннервации.

Запрещается применение лекарственного препарата самкам в период беременности и лактации, а также щенкам и котятам моложе 3-недельного возраста. Не следует применять препарат животным массой менее 0,5 кг. Собакам, чувствительных к макроциклическим лактонам пород, в том числе бобтейл, колли, шелти и их помесям, лекарственный препарат применяется по назначению и под контролем ветеринарного врача.

Порядок применения:

При цестодозах и нематодозах желудочно-кишечного тракта Диронет 1000 с лечебной и профилактической целью применяют индивидуально перорально однократно в утреннее кормление в следующих дозах: пирантела памоат - 15 мг/кг, празиквантел - 5 мг/кг, ивермектин - 0,006 мг/кг, из расчета 1 таблетка Диронет 1000 на 30 кг массы собак крупных пород.

С профилактической целью дегельминтизацию проводят ежеквартально, а также перед каждой вакцинацией. Для снижения количества микрофилярий, циркулирующих в крови инвазированных D. immitis или D. repens животных, препарат назначают в терапевтической дозе однократно, один раз в месяц.

С целью профилактики дирофиляриоза в неблагополучном по заболеванию регионе, Диронет 1000 применяют в весенне-летне-осенний период: однократно перед началом лета комаров (март-апрель), затем ежемесячно с апреля по октябрь, и последний раз в сезоне через 1 месяц после окончания лета комаров (октябрь-ноябрь).
