Composition and pharmacological properties

DIRONET 200 is intended for cats, contains 60 mg of pyrantel pamoate, 20 mg of praziquantel and 0.024 mg of ivermectin in one tablet.

DIRONET belongs to the combination anthelmintic drugs of a broad spectrum of action.

Pyrantel pamoate is a compound of the pyrimidine group.

It is active against mature and immature nematodes.

Its mechanism of action is based on the blockade of nerve impulse transmission at neuromuscular synapses by depolarizing muscle cell membranes, which causes paralysis of the nematode's muscular system.

Pyrantel is poorly absorbed, which ensures its prolonged effect on helminths in the intestine; it is excreted from the body mainly unchanged (93%) in feces.

Praziquantel is a compound of the pyrazinoisoquinoline group.

It is active against mature and immature cestodes.

Its mechanism of action is based on the induction of tegument disintegration and inhibition of fumarate reductase, persistent depolarization of helminth muscle cells, and disruption of energy metabolism, which causes paralysis and death of cestodes and promotes their elimination from the gastrointestinal tract.

Praziquantel is rapidly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, reaching its maximum plasma concentration within 1-3 hours.

It is distributed throughout the animal's organs and tissues; it binds to serum proteins (70-80%), is partially metabolized in the liver, re-excreted into the intestines, and is excreted primarily in the urine (up to 80%).

Ivermectin is a macrocyclic lactone compound with a pronounced anthelmintic effect on larval and adult nematodes, including D.

immitis and D.

repens.

Its mechanism of action involves influencing the magnitude of chloride ion flux through the membranes of parasite nerve and muscle cells.

The primary targets are glutamate-sensitive chloride channels and gamma-aminobutyric acid receptors.

Changes in chloride ion flux disrupt the conduction of nerve impulses, leading to paralysis and death of the parasite.

After oral administration, ivermectin reaches its maximum concentration in the blood within 3 hours and is excreted from the body in urine and bile, and in lactating animals, partly in milk.

Indications for use:

Prevention of dirofilariasis, as well as treatment and prevention of nematodosis and cestodiasis in cats and kittens.

Состав и фармакологические свойства

ДИРОНЕТ 200 предназначен для кошек, содержит в одной таблетке пирантела памоата 60 мг, празиквантела 20 мг и ивермектина 0,024 мг.

ДИРОНЕТ относится к комбинированным антигельминтным лекарственным препаратам широкого спектра действия.

Пирантела памоат - соединение группы пиримидинов. Активен в отношении половозрелых и неполовозрелых нематод. Механизм его действия основан на блокаде передачи нервных импульсов в нервно-мышечных синапсах путем деполяризации мембран мышечных клеток, что вызывает паралич мышечной системы нематод. Пирантел плохо всасывается, что обеспечивает его пролонгированное действие на гельминтов в кишечнике; выводится из организма в основном в неизмененном виде (93%) с фекалиями.

Празиквантел - соединение группы пиразинизохинолинов. Активен в отношении половозрелых и неполовозрелых цестод. Механизм его действия основан на индуцировании распада тегумента и ингибировании фумаратредуктазы, стойкой деполяризации мышечных клеток гельминта, нарушении энергетического обмена, что вызывает паралич и гибель цестод и способствует их выведению из желудочно-кишечного тракта. Празиквантел быстро всасывается в желудочно-кишечном тракте, достигая максимальной концентрации в плазме крови через 1-3 часа, распределяется в органах и тканях животного; связывается с сывороточными белкам крови (70-80%), частично метаболизируется в печени, реэкскретируется в кишечник, выводится из организма в основном с мочой (до 80%).

Ивермектин - соединение класса макроциклических лактонов, обладает выраженным антигельминтным действием на личиночные и половозрелые фазы развития нематод, в том числе D. immitis и D. repens. Механизм его действия заключается во влиянии на величину тока ионов хлора через мембраны нервных и мышечных клеток паразита. Основной мишенью являются глютаматчувствительные хлорные каналы, а также рецепторы гамма-аминомасляной кислоты. Изменение тока ионов хлора нарушает проведение нервных импульсов, что приводит к параличу и гибели паразита. После перорального введения ивермектин достигает максимальной концентрация в крови в течение 3 часов, выводится из организма с мочой и желчью, у лактирующих животных частично с молоком.

Показания к применению:

Профилактика дирофиляриоза, а также лечение и профилактика нематодозов и цестодозов кошек и котят.
