Dironet 200 has a broad spectrum of nematodocidal and cestocidal action, is active against round and tapeworms (worms) parasitizing dogs and cats, including Toxocara canis, T.

cati, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum, Trichuris vulpis, Echinococcus granulosus, E.

multilocularis, Diphyllobothrium latum, Dipylidium caninum, Multiceps multiceps, Taenia spp., and the larval stages (microfilariae) of Dirofilaria immitis and Dirofilaria repens.

Ivermectin's mechanism of action involves binding to glutamate-dependent chloride channels, located primarily in the swallowing and somatic muscles.

This increases membrane permeability to chloride ions, blocks neuromuscular transmission, and causes paralysis and death of the parasite.

Pyrantel pamoate's mechanism of action involves blocking neuromuscular transmission, disrupting cell membrane permeability, and inhibiting cholinesterase, which also leads to paralysis and death of the parasite.

Praziquantel's mechanism of action is based on disruption of glucose transport and microtubule function in cestodes, inhibition of fumarate reductase activity and ATP synthesis, increased permeability of cell membranes, and disruption of muscle innervation.

The drug is prohibited for use in pregnant and lactating females, as well as in puppies and kittens under 3 weeks of age.

The drug should not be administered to animals weighing less than 0.5 kg.

Directions for use:

For cestodiasis and nematodiasis of the gastrointestinal tract, Dironet 200 is administered orally individually for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes, once during the morning feeding in the following doses: pyrantel pamoate - 15 mg / kg, praziquantel - 5 mg / kg, ivermectin - 0.006 mg / kg, at the rate of 1 Dironet 200 tablet per 4 kg of body weight of dogs and puppies.

For prophylactic purposes, deworming is carried out quarterly, as well as before each vaccination. To reduce the number of microfilariae circulating in the blood of animals infected with D. immitis or D. repens, the drug is prescribed in a therapeutic dose once a month. To prevent dirofilariasis in a region where the disease is common, Dironet 200 is used in the spring-summer-fall period: once before the start of the mosquito season (March-April), then monthly from April to October, and the last time in the season 1 month after the end of the mosquito season (October-November).

Диронет 200 обладает широким спектром нематодоцидного и цестодоцидного действия, активен в отношении круглых и ленточных гельминтов (глистов), паразитирующих у собак и кошек, в т. ч. Toxocara canis, Т. cati, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum, Trichuris vulpis, Echinococcus granulosus, E. multilocularis, Diphyllobothrium latum, Dipylidium caninum, Multiceps multiceps, Taenia spp., а также личиночных фаз развития (микрофилярий) Dirofilaria immitis и Dirofilaria repens. Механизм действия ивермектина заключается в связывании с глутамат-зависимыми хлорными каналами, расположенными преимущественно в глотательных и соматических мышцах. В результате увеличивается проницаемость мембраны для ионов хлора, блокируется передача нервно-мышечного импульса, наступает паралич и гибель паразита. Механизм действия пирантела памоата заключается в блокировании нейромышечной передачи, нарушении проницаемости клеточных мембран и угнетении холинэстеразы, что также приводит к параличу и гибели паразита. Механизм действия празиквантела основан на нарушении у цестод транспорта глюкозы и микротубулярной функции, угнетении активности фумаратредуктазы и синтеза АТФ, повышении проницаемости клеточных мембран и нарушении мышечной иннервации.

Запрещается применение лекарственного препарата самкам в период беременности и лактации, а также щенкам и котятам моложе 3-недельного возраста. Не следует применять препарат животным массой менее 0,5 кг.

Порядок применения:

При цестодозах и нематодозах желудочно-кишечного тракта Диронет 200 с лечебной и профилактической целью применяют индивидуально перорально однократно в утреннее кормление в следующих дозах: пирантела памоат - 15 мг/кг, празиквантел - 5 мг/кг, ивермектин - 0,006 мг/кг, из расчета 1 таблетка Диронет 200 на на 4 кг массы собак и щенков.

С профилактической целью дегельминтизацию проводят ежеквартально, а также перед каждой вакцинацией. Для снижения количества микрофилярий, циркулирующих в крови инвазированных D. immitis или D. repens животных, препарат назначают в терапевтической дозе однократно, один раз в месяц. С целью профилактики дирофиляриоза в неблагополучном по заболеванию регионе, Диронет 200 применяют в весенне-летне-осенний период: однократно перед началом лета комаров (март-апрель), затем ежемесячно с апреля по октябрь, и последний раз в сезоне через 1 месяц после окончания лета комаров (октябрь-ноябрь).
