Composition and pharmacological properties.
The drug contains the following active ingredients per 1 ml, depending on the modification: 85 mg of praziquantel and 20 mg of ivermectin, as well as excipients: dimethyl sulfoxide and benzyl alcohol.
It belongs to the combination antiparasitic drugs.
It has a broad spectrum of antiparasitic action, is active against larval and mature stages of development of endoparasites: nematodes, including Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina, Ancylostoma spp., Uncinaria stenocephala, Trichuris vulpis, cestodes, including Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Diphyllobothrium latum, Dipylidium caninum, Multiceps multiceps, Taenia spp., Mesocestoides lineatus, and ectoparasites: fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.), lice (Linognatus setotus), lice (Trichodectes canis), sarcoptic (Sarcoptes canis, Otodectes cynotis, Notoedres cati) and demodectic (Demodex canis) ticks that infest dogs and cats.
After application to the skin, the active components accumulate in the epidermis, hair follicles, and sebaceous glands of the animal's body and, partially absorbed from the site of application, enter the systemic bloodstream, organs, and tissues.
The mechanism of action of ivermectin, a component of the drug, is based on its effect on the magnitude of chloride ion flux through the membranes of the parasite's nerve and muscle cells.
The primary targets are glutamate-sensitive chloride channels and gamma-aminobutyric acid receptors.
Changes in the chloride ion current disrupt impulse conduction, leading to paralysis and death of ectoparasites and nematodes.
Praziquantel's mechanism of action is based on the depolarization of neuromuscular ganglionic blockers, disruption of glucose transport, and microtubular function at all stages of cestodes development, which causes disruption of muscle innervation, paralysis, and death of parasites.
Storage.
In the manufacturer's unopened packaging, in a place protected from direct sunlight, separate from food and feed, at a temperature of 0°C to 30°C, out of the reach of children.
The shelf life of the medicinal product, subject to storage conditions, is 18 months from the date of manufacture.
After opening the dropper tube, the drug cannot be stored.
Do not use the medicinal product after the expiration date.
Dosage form.
Polymer pipette tubes of 0.5 ml, packed in 4 pieces in cardboard boxes, instructions for use, stickers for the veterinary passport.
Indications for use.
Prescribed to puppies from 2 months of age for the treatment and prevention of nematodosis, cestodiasis, entomoses, otodectosis, sarcoptosis, notoedrosis and demodicosis.
Contraindications.
A contraindication to the use of DIRONET spot-on is increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug.
Do not use on puppies under 2 months of age, pregnant or lactating females, animals with infectious diseases, or weakened or recovering animals.
If the drug must be used on collie, bobtail, and sheltie puppies and their crossbreeds, due to the increased sensitivity of these breeds to ivermectin, treatment should be carried out as prescribed and under the supervision of a treating veterinarian.
The drug is toxic to bees, as well as fish and other aquatic organisms.
Dosage and administration.
The drug is administered to animals by dropwise application ("spot-on") onto dry, intact skin.
Before use, break off the tip of the dropper tube and, parting the fur, apply the drug to the animal's skin in places inaccessible for licking: in the neck area at the base of the skull or between the shoulder blades.
When treating animals, apply the contents of the pipettes to the skin in 3-4 places.
Based on the weight of the animal being treated, select a pipette tube of the required volume or a combination of them and apply the preparation in the following doses:
Up to 2 kg - 0.5 ml / 1/2 pipette
From 2 to 5 kg - 0.5 ml / 1 pipette
Over 5 kg - 0.5 ml / 2 pipettes
Do not apply the preparation to wet or damaged skin, wash or bathe the animal for 4 days after treatment.
To destroy fleas, lice and chewing lice, treat the animal once, to prevent re-infestation - once a month throughout the entire season of insect activity.
To prevent recurrence of fleas, replace bedding or treat it with an insecticide according to the instructions for use.
For the treatment of otodectosis (ear mites), the product is applied to the skin once.
During treatment, it is recommended to clear the ear canal of exudate and scabs, and if otitis is complicated, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agents are prescribed.
If necessary, the course of treatment is repeated after 1 month.

Состав и фармакологические свойства.

Изменение тока ионов хлора нарушает проведение импульсов, что приводит к параличу и гибели эктопаразитов и нематод.
Механизм действия празиквантела основан на деполяризации нейромышечных ганглиоблокаторов, нарушении транспорта глюкозы и микротубулярной функции всех фаз развития цестод, что вызывает нарушение мышечной иннервации, паралич и гибель паразитов.
Хранение.
В закрытой упаковке производителя, в защищенном от прямых солнечных лучей месте, отдельно от продуктов питания и кормов, при температуре от 0 °С до 30 °С в местах, недоступных для детей. Срок годности лекарственного препарата при соблюдении условий хранения - 18 месяцев со дня производства. После вскрытия тюбик-пипетки препарат хранению не подлежит. Запрещается использовать лекарственный препарат по истечении срока годности.
Форма выпуска.
Полимерные тюбик-пипетки по 0,5 мл, упакованные по 4 штуки в картонные пачки, инструкция по применению, наклейки в ветеринарный паспорт.
Показания к применению.
Назначают щенкам с 2-месячного возраста с целью лечения и профилактики нематодозов, цестодозов, энтомозов, отодектоза, саркоптоза, нотоэдроза и демодекоза.
Противопоказания.
Противопоказанием к применению препарата ДИРОНЕТ спот-он является повышенная индивидуальная чувствительность животного к компонентам препарата. Запрещается применять щенкам моложе 2-месячного возраста, беременным и лактирующим самкам, больным инфекционными болезнями, ослабленным и выздоравливающим животным.
При необходимости применение препарата щенкам породы колли, бобтейл и шелти и их помесям, в связи с повышенной чувствительностью собак этих пород к ивермектину, обработку следует проводить по назначению и под контролем лечащего ветеринарного врача. Препарат токсичен для пчел, а также рыб и других гидробионтов.
Дозы и порядок применения.
Препарат применяют животным путем капельного нанесения («spot-on») на сухую неповрежденную кожу. Перед использованием у тюбик-пипетки отламывают кончик и, раздвинув шерсть, наносят препарат на кожу животному в места, недоступные для слизывания: в области шеи у основания черепа или между лопатками. При обработке животных содержимое пипеток наносят на кожу в 3-4 места.
С учетом массы обрабатываемого животного выбирают тюбик-пипетки необходимого объема или их комбинации и применяют препарат в следующих дозах:
До 2 кг – 0,5 мл / 1/2 пипетки
От 2 до 5 кг – 0,5 мл / 1 пипетка
Более 5 кг – 0,5 мл /2 пипетки
Не следует наносить препарат на влажную или поврежденную кожу, мыть и купать животное в течение 4 суток после обработки. Для уничтожения блох, вшей и власоедов обработку животного проводят однократно, для предотвращения повторной инвазии - один раз в месяц на протяжении всего сезона активности насекомых. В целях предотвращения повторной инвазии блохами животным заменяют подстилки или обрабатывают их инсектицидным средством в соответствии с инструкцией по его применению.
Для лечения отодектоза (ушной чесотки) препарат наносят на кожу однократно. В процессе лечения рекомендуется очищать слуховой проход от экссудата и струпьев, а в случае осложнения отитом назначают противомикробные и противовоспалительные средства. При необходимости курс лечения повторяют через 1 месяц.
