BARS insectoacaricidal drops are used in dogs and cats for the treatment and prevention of diseases caused by fleas (aphanipterosis), ixodid ticks (ixodidosis), lice (linognathosis, trichodectes), scabies (sarcoptosis, notoedrosis, otodectosis) and trombidiform (demodicosis, cheyletiellosis) mites, in the complex therapy of allergic dermatitis caused by flea bites, as well as for protection against attacks of dipterous blood-sucking insects.

The drug is effective against the following types of ectoparasites:

fleas: Ctenocephalides canis, Ctenocephalides felis;

lice: Linognathus setosus, Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostratus;

ticks: Cheyletiella yasguri, Sarcoptes spp., Notoedres cati, Otodectes cynotis, Demodex spp., Dermacentor marginatus, Dermacentor reticulatus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus.

BARS insectoacaricidal drops are used once by point drop application to dry, intact skin.

Before treatment, lightly tap the narrow tip of the pipette removed from the packaging (so that all the contents flow into the main reservoir of the pipette), then break off or unscrew the tip.

Parting the fur, place the tip of the pipette directly above the skin in places inaccessible to licking by the animal, pressing and gradually releasing the pipette, apply the solution to the skin in several points along the spine (from the ears to the area between the shoulder blades and along the back), avoiding the drug getting on the fur.

For puppies, dogs weighing up to 20 kg, cats and kittens, the drug is applied to the skin in 2-4 points, for dogs weighing more than 20 kg - in 4-6 or more points.

For treating dogs weighing over 60 kg, use a combination of pipettes at the rate of 0.67 ml of the drug for every additional 10 kg of weight; when treating dogs weighing less than 2 kg - at the rate of three drops of the drug (0.07 ml) per 1 kg of the animal's weight.

For optimal protective effect, treatment should be carried out no later than 24 hours before the expected walk of dogs in areas where parasites may inhabit.

To prevent re-infestation with fleas, replace animal bedding or treat it and the floors of the premises with an insecticide in accordance with the instructions for its use.

To kill ixodid ticks on the animal's body, apply 1 drop of the drug to the tick and the site of its attachment to the skin.

If the tick does not fall off spontaneously within 20-30 minutes, then carefully remove it from the body with tweezers and destroy it.

When treating otodectosis (ear mange), the auricles and ear canal are first cleaned of earwax and exudate from scabs, then 4-6 drops of the drug are instilled into each ear.

To distribute the medication evenly, fold the auricle lengthwise and gently massage its base.

Apply the remainder of the medication in the pipette to the skin between the shoulder blades.

To prevent licking, place a neck collar or muzzle on the animal, removing it 20-30 minutes after application.

Special instructions.

Do not wash or bathe animals with shampoo 48 hours before and 24 hours after treatment.

Subsequent bathing of the animal without detergent does not affect the duration of the drug's action.

БАРС капли инсектоакарицидные применяют однократно путем точечного капельного нанесения на сухую неповрежденную кожу.

Перед обработкой следует слегка постучать по узкому кончику извлеченной из упаковки пипетки (чтобы все содержимое поступило в основной резервуар пипетки), затем отломить или открутить кончик. Раздвинув шерсть, поместить кончик пипетки непосредственно над кожей вместах, недоступных для слизывания животным, нажимая и постепенно освобождая пипетку, нанести раствор на кожу в несколько точек вдоль позвоночника (от ушей до области между лопатками ивдоль спины), избегая попадания препарата на шерсть. Щенкам, собакам массой до 20 кг, кошкам икотятам препарат наносят на кожу в 2-4 точки, собакам массой более 20 кг – в 4-6 и более точек. Для обработки собак массой свыше 60 кг используют комбинацию пипеток из расчета 0,67мл препарата на каждые дополнительные 10 кг массы; при обработке собак массой менее 2кг – из расчета три капли препарата (0,07мл) на 1 кг массы животного. Для получения оптимального защитного эффекта обработки следует проводить не позднее, чем за 24 часа до предполагаемого выгула собак в местах возможного обитания паразитов.

В целях предотвращения повторной инфестации блохами животным заменяют подстилки или обрабатывают их и полы помещений инсектицидным средством всоответствии с инструкцией по его применению.

Для уничтожения иксодовых клещей на теле животного лекарственный препарат в количестве 1капли наносят на клеща и место его прикрепления к коже. Если втечение 20-30 минут клещ самопроизвольно не отпадает, то его аккуратно вытаскивают из тела пинцетом иуничтожают.

При лечении отодектоза (ушной чесотки) ушные раковины и слуховой проход предварительно очищают от ушной серы, экссудата иструпьев, затем закапывают в каждое ухо по 4-6 капель лекарственного препарата. Для равномерного распределения лекарственного препарата ушную раковину складывают вдоль и слегка массируют ее основание. Остаток лекарственного препарата в пипетке наносят животному на кожу между лопатками.

Для предотвращения слизывания препарата животным надевают шейный воротник или намордник, который снимают через 20-30 минут после нанесения препарата.

Особые указания.

Не следует мыть и купать животных с шампунем за 48 ч перед и24ч после обработки. Последующее купание животного без моющего средства не влияет на продолжительность действия препарата.
