Composition and properties:

ExpressTabs is available in three modifications, containing the following active ingredients in 1 tablet:

As auxiliary substances, the drug contains: lactose, a flavor additive - “meat flavor”, pregelatinized corn starch and calcium stearate.

The active substances included in the drug provide a wide spectrum of its antiparasitic action against: fleas (Ctenocephalides canis, Ctenocephalides felis), ixodid ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Ixodes persulcatus, Ixodes scapularis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Dermacentor reticulatus, Dermacentor silvarum, Dermacentor marginatus, Dermacentor variabilis, Amblyomma americanum, Haemaphysalis flava, Haemaphysalis campanulata), lice (Linognathus setosus, Trichodectes canis), scabies mites (Sarcoptes canis, Notoedres cati, Otodectos cynotis), trombidiform mites (Demodex canis, Cheyletiella yasguri), roundworms - nematodes (Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Trichuris vulpis, Uncinaria stenocephala, Thelazia callipaeda, Angiostrongylus vasorum, Crenosoma vulpis, Dirofilaria immitis (microfilariae), Dirofilaria repens (microfilariae)) and tapeworms - cestodes (Dipylidium caninum, Multiceps multiceps, Taenia hydatigena, Taenia ovis, Taenia pisiformis, Echinococcus granulosus, Alveococcus multilocularis), parasites in dogs.

Spinosad is a systemic insectoacaricide of the spinosyn group, containing two main components: spinosyn A and spinosyn D, obtained from the natural bacterium Saccharopolyspora spinosa.

Spinosad is rapidly absorbed in the animal's gastrointestinal tract and enters the systemic bloodstream, reaching its maximum concentration in the blood plasma of dogs after 4.1 ± 1.1 hours; the half-life is 10 days.

Significant concentrations of spinosad are detected in the blood plasma for up to 42 days.

Spinosad is excreted from the animal body primarily in feces and partially in urine, and in lactating animals also in milk.

Moxidectin is a macrocyclic lactone, active against insects, ticks, larvae and adult nematodes of the gastrointestinal tract, and the larval stages of dirofilaria development.

The main targets of the compound are glutamate-sensitive chloride channels and gamma-aminobutyric acid receptors.

Indications:

ExpressTabs is prescribed to adult dogs and puppies for the treatment and prevention of associated parasitic diseases caused by fleas, ixodid ticks, lice, scabies and trombidiform mites, nematodes and cestodes, for the prevention of dirofilariasis caused by the larvae of Dirofilaria immitis and Dirofilaria repens, and to reduce the risk of contracting vector-borne diseases.

Dosage and administration:

ExpressTabs is administered to animals Strictly during feeding or immediately after feeding with a small amount of food (treat) or administered to the root of the tongue.

Tablets may be crushed.

For sensitive animals, the dose may be divided into two equal parts, administered 3-5 hours apart.

Make sure the animal has swallowed the entire dose.

ExpressTabs tablets are dosed strictly according to the dog's weight.

When administering the drug to dogs weighing over 60 kg, a combination of tablets of the appropriate modifications should be selected.

For example: for a dog weighing 70 kg, use 2 tablets "For dogs weighing from 30 to 60 kg" and an additional 1 tablet "For dogs from 5 to 15 kg".

Side effects:

After using ExpressTabs, adverse reactions may occur: common (more than 1, but less than 10 out of 100 animals) - hypersalivation, vomiting, diarrhea, refusal to eat, depression, ataxia, muscle tremors, mydriasis (pupil dilation), nervous excitability, photophobia; very rare (less than 1 out of 10,000 animals) convulsions are possible.

Спиносад – инсектоакарицид системного действия группы спинозинов, содержит в своем составе два основных компонента: спинозин А и спинозин D, полученные из природной бактерии Saccharopolyspora spinosa.

Показания:

ЭкспрессТабс назначают взрослым собакам и щенкам для лечения и профилактики ассоциативных паразитарных заболеваний, вызываемых блохами, иксодовыми клещами, вшами, чесоточными и тромбидиформными клещами, нематодами и цестодами, для профилактики дирофиляриоза, вызываемого личинками Dirofilaria immitis и Dirofilaria repens, а также снижения риска заражения трансмиссивными заболеваниями.

Дозы и порядок применения:

ЭкспрессТабс применяют животным Строго во время кормления или сразу после кормления с небольшим количеством корма (лакомства) или вводят на корень языка. Допускается измельчение таблеток.

Для чувствительных животных допускается деление дозы препарата на две равные части с последующей дачей с интервалом 3-5 часов.

Необходимо убедиться, что животное проглотило необходимую дозу полностью.

При применении препарата собакам массой более 60 кг следует подобрать комбинацию таблеток соответствующих модификаций. Например: для собаки массой 70 кг следует использовать 2 таблетки «Для собак весом от 30 до 60 кг» и дополнительно 1 таблетку «Для собак от 5 до 15 кг».

Побочные явления:

После применения препарата ЭкспрессТабс возможно проявление нежелательных реакций: часто (более 1, но менее 10 из 100 животных) – гиперсаливация, рвота, диарея, отказ от корма, угнетенное состояние, атаксия, мышечный тремор, мидриаз (расширение зрачка), нервная возбудимость, светобоязнь; очень редко (менее 1 из 10 000 животных) возможны конвульсии.
