The two active ingredients in the Balmain formula: Silk Protein and Succinic Acid close the cuticles of the hair, giving integrity and elasticity to the hair, while restructuring the hair strand for healthy hair with a vibrant shine. Silk Protein is an active ingredient that provides optimum moisture to the hair. Scientifically, Silk Protein and natural hair proteins are almost the same. Silk Protein contains 17 of the 19 amino acids in natural hair. The content restructures the damaged protein chains in the hair in the most natural way. Resulting in soft, strengthened and revitalized hair. The formula is enriched with Succinic Acid to increase the strength of silk. Succinic Acid is a natural substance obtained from Amberstones that penetrates deeply into the hair. It helps transport the Silk Protein and creates a protective layer around each protein chain.
