A prophylactic tea made from Saussurea herb is an antimicrobial and blood-purifying agent. This herb is used for various ailments: pulmonary (bronchitis, pneumonia, acute respiratory infections, tuberculosis, tracheitis), gynecological (vaginitis, endometritis, colpitis), eye (glaucoma), liver disease, gastrointestinal tract disease, allergies, and skin diseases (diathesis, eczema, psoriasis). Fresh leaves are applied to wounds, especially purulent ones. Dosage: 1/3 cup of decoction 3 times daily before meals. Contraindications: Individual intolerance.
