This variety is considered one of the world's finest black teas. Large-leaf, partially fermented Darjeeling is often compared to Chinese oolong. The infusion has a delicate light brown color and a subtle floral aroma. Its refined flavor, with hints of honey and nutmeg, has earned Darjeeling the nickname "tea champagne." The tea is hand-picked, using the tips of young shoots with two leaves and a bud.

Сбор чая осуществляется вручную. При этом берутся верхушки молодых побегов с двумя листами и почкой.
