Key Benefits

💧 Controlled flow — Limits the amount of liquid that can be sucked through at a controlled pace.
⏱️ Timed intervals — Delivers about 1 teaspoon of liquid intermittently every 1 to 3 or 6 to 9 seconds.
🛡️ Float mechanism — Float rises when fluid travels through chamber and closes off at approximately 6.2ml to prevent over-delivery.
⏸️ Swallowing breaks — When user stops sucking, float sinks allowing time to control liquid and safely swallow.
🎯 Safe drinking — Helps patients with deficient oropharyngeal or oral motor skills drink safely.

How does the Safe Straw work?

It uses a float chamber and one-way valve to limit the bolus size, delivering about 1 teaspoon intermittently every 1-3 or 6-9 seconds.

How much liquid does it deliver?

After about 6.2ml, the float reaches the top of the chamber and closes off to prevent more fluid from being delivered.

What is the package size?

This item is sold by a box of 12 units.
