Rooibos, or aspalathus linearis, is a shrub whose young branches are often reddish. The shrub bears green needles instead of leaves and blooms with yellow flowers in spring.

There is only one place in the world where rooibos grows wild or can be cultivated: the Cederberg region, a rugged, mountainous area two hours northeast of Cape Town with the climate, soil, and conditions conducive to its healthy growth.

It is recommended to add 1 teaspoon (3 g) to 250 ml of water at 85 C - 95 C and steep for 3-5 minutes.
The same tea can be brewed twice.
Store in a cool, dry place, in its sealed container.
You can enrich your tea with honey, lemon, or natural sweeteners.
