Fruity and Aromatic

Ethiopia was the first country in history to produce coffee. In fact, it is the only country in the world where coffee plants grow naturally. Arabica coffee grows naturally in the shade of tall trees, at an altitude of approximately 1,800 meters.

For thousands of years, families who have lived here have harvested coffee berries. They dry them in nets suspended in the sun, then roast them and pound them in mortars. Coffee is ritually offered to guests as a symbol of respect and tolerance.

When ripe coffee berries are picked, the reddest ones are selected. The degree of roasting gives the beans a high aromatic intensity with citrus and floral notes. It has a medium body and leaves a pleasant vanilla aftertaste.
