General Information:

Türkiye's highest quality sesame, which is on the way to receiving a geographical indication, is produced using traditional methods in the Gökova basin of the Ula district of Mugla. The region's unique climate and the "Crazy Memet" wind impart a unique aroma to sesame. Gökova Brown Sesame, known for its high oil content, is particularly popular in countries like Japan, China, and Greece.

How We Produced It?

Our sesame seeds are harvested using entirely traditional methods. The harvested sesame seeds are left in bunches on the ground and dried in clusters. The sesame seeds are struck with sticks, then sifted through sieves, cleaned, and packaged. Unlike white sesame seeds, brown sesame seeds have not undergone any roasting process and are completely natural.

How Should They Be Used?

Gökova Brown Sesame can be consumed raw or lightly roasted. Sesame adds an excellent flavor to dishes, pastries, cakes, and salads.

Sopalarla vurularak dökülen susamlar, eleklerden geçirilerek temizlenip paketlenir. Beyaz susamdan farkli olarak, esmer susam herhangi bir kavurma islemine tabi tutulmamistir, tamamen dogal halindedir.
