Dried Walnuts
These are walnuts newly harvested in 2023.
General Information:
Walnuts are among the most widely used nuts in Turkish culture and cuisine due to their diverse uses. Rich in Omega-3, they are a complete health treasure. They are also a rich source of vitamin C, B vitamins, vitamin E, calcium, potassium, sodium, and zinc.
How did we produce it?
Our orchard is a local walnut orchard. Besides being a local product, we also produce walnuts using local varieties. We have many walnut trees of varying ages, the oldest of which is 30 years old. There are 10-12 varieties of local walnuts on our land. All have different tastes, flavors, and textures, but their common feature is that they are all extremely delicious. In addition to their high oil content, they also have a very high aroma.
We begin harvesting every year in late July or early August. The walnuts we carefully pick from the trees are dried in special drying ovens. They are not exposed to any chemicals or radiation.
How should they be used?
You can consume walnuts directly or use them in making cakes, cupcakes,and doughand in making ice cream and jam.
