Weiterhin schützen die Wirkstoffe der Blätter vor bakteriellen Erkrankungen wie z.B. Flossenfäule und Verpilzungen, Lochkrankheit bei Cichliden, Ektoparasiten, Schleimhautschäden, Verletzungen und Kiemenwürmern. Die Blätter stammen vom asiatischen Seemandelbaum und werden zum optimalen Zeitpunkt geerntet, gereinigt, geglättet und getrocknet. 20 cm Blattlänge auf 80 Liter Wasser pro Woche hat sich bei uns bestens bewährt. Somit ist sichergestellt, dass kontinuierlich das Wasser mit den wertvollen Inhaltsstoffen versorgt wird und der für maximales Wohlbefinden der Aquarienbewohner erforderliche Zersetzungszustand geboten wird. Der PH-Wert wird leicht gesenkt, ohne dass sich der Leitwert ändert.
