Colief Infant Drops Lactase Enzyme Drops. Reduce Lactose Content in Breast Milk or Infant Formula

Colief Infant Drops is a natural product which is added to infant milk and used to treat temporary lactose intolerance (TLI) in babies suffering from colic. The active ingredient is lactase, a safe, naturally occurring substance produced within the small intestine.

Lactose intolerance in new-born babies can lead to digestive discomfort - bloating, wind and griping pain - which results from undigested lactose in food. This can be an important factor in some babies with colic.

How to use Colief Infant Drops

BREASTFEEDING WITH COLIEF

4 Drops

  1. Express about a tablespoon (15ml) of breast milk into a clean container.
  2. Add 4 drops of Colief Infant Drops to the milk.
  3. Give this to your infant on a spoon before initiating breastfeeding.

USING COLIEF WITH INFANT FORMULA

4 Drops

  1. Prepare your infant’s formula as per manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Add 4 drops of Colief Infant Drops to the warm (not hot) formula.
  3. Wait 30 minutes, gently shaking the formula occasionally, then feed your infant as normal, making sure that the formula is at the correct temperature.
  4. Discard any unused formula.

MAKING FORMULA IN ADVANCE WITH COLIEF

2 Drops

  1. Prepare your infant’s formula as per manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Add 2 drops of Colief Infant Drops to the warm (not hot) formula.
  3. Store in your refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours before use.
  4. Feed your infant as normal making sure that the formula is at the correct temperature.
