Coral Sun was founded by Cynthia Olson, a mom of two and coral reef safety advocate who has spent her entire professional career devoted to clean sun and skincare. Cynthia’s relentless drive to create suncare products of the highest quality and efficacy was born from having two family members diagnosed with melanoma in the same year and eventually, losing one of them to this horrible disease at the early age of 53. She began her career as a licensed esthetician over 12 years ago, later working under a dermatologist and eventually transitioned into working with companies to help develop the top sun and skincare products in the world. Her mission was to incorporate her knowledge of skincare ingredients and product production to make sun care that’s clean for our skin, the environment, and especially our coral reefs.
