When you use it for the first time:

IMPORTANT - This is a concentrated and powerful serum. As with any skincare product, we suggest doing a Patch Test on a small area of skin on your neck to make sure the formula is a good fit for you. Once you determine there is no problem with the patch test you should (1) Wash your face and then dry (2) Apply a small amount to your entire face, neck and decollete, (3) allow to dry (4) Follow with a moisturizer.

Directions:

Please patch test 48 hours prior to use & note skin's response. Apply once or twice daily after cleansing and/or toning. Lightly soak a cotton pad and apply over the entire face, including the eye area (avoid lash line and eyelids). Do not rinse. For daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 30 or greater.

When Niacinamide meets Retinol, you can have an even greater effect. It also has the effect of preventing some of the problems you might encounter using Retinol. Since both ingredients are effective in improving acne and improving skin texture, you will find more satisfying effects when used together.
