Brown and White Bristles

Top Acryl brushes come in two different bristle colors — brown and white. Both are constructed using the same da Vinci interlocking effect, a labor-intensive way of making brushes that helps ensure the brush will keep its form even after long and intensive use.

The brown brushes have a slightly stiffer synthetic fiber, and they feature brown esagonal handles. Additionally, select Series of brown brushes come in both short- and long-length handles.

The white Top Acryl brushes feature long natural polished handles.

Extra stiff with a precise snap, da Vinci Top Acryl synthetic paint brushes are excellent for heavy body acrylics, oils, and water-mixable oils. They're also a favorite of impasto painters (where paint is laid onto the canvas very thickly).

Top Acryl brushes have a stronger bristle structure that can handle thicker paints while providing excellent color consistency. They're constructed with five different diameters of extra strong synthetic bristle, with thicker fibers on the outside and thinner fibers in the middle to trap and hold color for higher absorption and even distribution.

Select Top Acryl Series paintbrushes feature da Vinci's patented 'esagonal handle', which includes six imperceptible flattenings at the thickest part of the handle to prevent rolling and limit hand fatigue.	Designed for cleaning da Vinci art brushes, Series 4033 (100 gram bar) and 4433 (85 gram round tin) brush soap helps maintain the brush head to keep it from drying out while also improving its suppleness.
