How to Use

Forehead Scan and Spot Mode

Step1

Please tidy the hair in front of the forehead, etc. Please keep the forehead free of hair, sweat, hats, scarves, etc.

Step2

Press the "Start" button, the thermometer will check itself, wait about 2 seconds.

Step3

Scan Mode:

Place the thermometer close to the left side of your forehead and keep it vertical. Press the START button and keep pressing the START button to scan from left to right along the forehead for 2-5s.

Spot Mode:

Aim the thermometer at the center of the forehead (above the eyebrows), keep a vertical distance of 1-3 cm, and press the START button.

How to Use

Ear Mode

Step1

Before measuring ear temperature, check that the ear canal and probe surface are clean.

Step2

Remove the cap of the thermometer and press the "Start" button. The thermometer will check itself and wait about 2 seconds.

Step3

If the person taking the temperature is older than 1 year, please gently pull his ear upward. If the person taking the temperature is less than 1 year old, please gently pull his ear to the side. Next, insert the thermometer probe slightly into the ear canal, then press the START button.

Step4

After 2 seconds, after a long "beep" sound or 5 short "beep" sounds, the measurement result will be displayed on the LCD screen.

Matters Needing Attention:

Before Temperature Measurement:

1. The temperature of the surrounding environment should be stable and away from places with strong airflow, such as fans and air conditioner outlets. When the ambient temperature of the measuring thermometer changes too much, please put the thermometer in a new environment and wait 30 minutes before taking the temperature measurement.

2. The human body should stay in the temperature measurement environment for at least 5 minutes before measuring the temperature.

3. Do not approach strong electrostatic fields or strong magnetic fields, and do not measure body temperature immediately after cold compresses on the forehead or after exercise, so as not to affect the accuracy of the measurement data.

4. Do not touch the infrared detection sensor with your fingers.

5. When measuring the temperature, please keep the ear canal clean and free of objects to prevent inaccurate temperature measurement.

After Temperature Measurement:

1.This product is not waterproof, please do not immerse it in water or other liquids.

2.We recommend that you store the thermometer in a dry place free of dust. Do not expose the thermometer to direct sunlight, heat, humidity or any extreme environment as this may reduce its functionality.

3.If the device is not used for a long time, please remove the battery.

Other considerations:

1. To ensure the accuracy of the measurement, please wait at least 30 seconds after 5 consecutive measurements.

2.According to clinical data test, the difference of ear temperature and forehead temperature is normal within ±0.2.
