Proper Use:
There are 20 different methods for brewing filter coffee. Depending on which method you prefer, you should adjust your grind level. It's difficult to give a precise grind level because grinders have different grind mechanisms.
For French Press: Grind to a coarse, coarse sea salt consistency.
For V60 (Pour Over), Chemex, and Paper Filter: Grind to a medium-coarse sand consistency.
For Aeropress and Moca Pot: Grind to a medium-fine, granulated sugar consistency.
If you prefer your coffee ground, De la Pau filter coffees are ground to a standard filter coffee grind compatible with all machines, including the V60 and Chemex. If you require ground coffee for a special option like the French Press, Moca Pot, or Syphon, simply let us know using the "Ask the Seller a Question" button. Our ground coffees are ground and packaged as quickly as possible before being shipped to you. Our team works tirelessly to deliver the freshest coffees to you.
Important Note: For a better aroma and a healthier brew, remember to moisten your filter coffee paper before brewing, ensuring there are no dry areas. Ensure your brewing equipment and machine are clean.
Inappropriate Use:
The V60 is not a suitable option for those who do not have a filter coffee brewing apparatus such as a Chemex or French Press, or a filter coffee machine. It is suitable for those who prefer plain or milk filter coffee. Users of fully automatic espresso machines that produce coffees such as lattes and cappuccinos should consider the Espresso Kreo, Espresso Rena, and Espresso Giza alternatives.
