FEATURES
What is the definition of SPF?
SPF is the initials of the words Sun Protection Factor in international use. Its Turkish equivalent is Sun Protection Factor.
The lowest amount of UV energy that creates erythema (redness) on human skin after 16 to 24 hours of exposure to UV rays of the sun is called minimal erythemal dose.
SPF, or sun protection factor, expresses the ratio of the minimal erythemal dose on skin protected with sunscreen creams to the minimal erythemal dose on the same unprotected skin.
-How does Dermokil Children's Sun Cream work?
According to European Union cosmetic regulations, there are certain rules that must be in sunscreens. For effective and safe protection, the UVA filter in the formula must be at least 1 3 of the SPF. The minimum critical wavelength is 370 nm (nanometers). Our sunscreen formula is designed according to these rules.
There are several different and special sun filters in Dermokil Children's Sunscreen. Depending on their structure, these filters act both by absorbing UV rays and changing their structure and by reflecting and removing the rays. It is effective against UVA and UVB rays. Dermokil Sunscreen is in the 50 SPF, or high protection factor, cream class. Prevents damage and irritation caused by sun rays. Provides protection for sensitive and sun-sensitive skin. Does not oil the skin or leave a sticky feeling. Moisturizes the skin.
Dermokil Children's Sunscreen protects the skin against harmful rays with effective UVA and UVB sun filters. UVB rays affect the epidermis. It can be protected from UVB rays by reflecting the light with physical protective ingredients. When the titanium oxide in our product is applied to the skin, it covers the skin surface and reflects UVB rays. UVA rays are the most harmful rays. They can reach the lower layers of the epidermis. They cause very serious and dangerous results such as carcinogenicity. Chemical protectors are needed to protect from UVA rays. Innovative raw materials are used as chemical protective actives in our products. These actives are the most commonly used sun filters in the global market - with their chemical names Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Octocrylene and Butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, stabilized and dispersed with a special encapsulation technology. As a result of this encapsulation technique, sun filters maintain their high performance for a long time, while ensuring that the SPF value of the product is measured reliably and consistently. In the in vitro and invo studies, no difference was observed in the protective feature for up to 8 hours. The active raw material that provides tanning in the product is herbal. It nourishes the skin thanks to the vitamin E it contains. It does not oil the skin, does not leave a sticky feeling. It is a water-resistant product. It has been developed for all skin types. It is not oily, does not shine after application. It does not create a white residue or a sticky feeling on the skin. It does not contain dyes and parabens.
Dermokil Children's Sunscreen is suitable for children aged 1 (one) and over.
